Honda file

The 1988 GL1500 was a clean-sheet Gold Wing built around a new liquid-cooled 1520 cc flat-six, offering more torque and much smoother running than the old four. It arrived as a single, fully loaded model with cruise control, audio and intercom, an on-board air compressor and an electric reverse gear to help manoeuvre its bulk. Brake discs were revised for 1989 and the brakes, carburettors and camshafts again for 1990.
